Tator Tot Casserole

I know there's a hundred and one ways to make this casserole, but this is our favorite.
2 pounds ground beef or ground venison
1 onion, chopped
1 bag (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can golden mushroom soup
Tator tots
Brown ground beef or venison with onion. Drain grease. Put in 9x13 pan sprayed with non-stick spray. Drain water in the bag from the mixed vegetables and put over the top of the burger. Mix together the two cans of soup and spread over the top of the vegetables. Spread a layer of tator tots over the top of soup. Bake at 350 for about an hour or until tator tots are browned.
